The chokeberry plant is a small bush of about 1-2 m in height, which thrives very well in our latitudes and is extremely hardy. The berries grow in umbels, similar to elderberry.

Chokeberry Contains Valuable OPC

The chokeberry has a remarkable content of OPC (= Oligomere Proanthocyanidine) and total-Polyphenolen in comparison with other fruits.

According to a study by the University of Illinois, the chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa = black chokeberry) contains significantly more antioxidants than raspberries, cranberries or Strawberries.

What is the difference between chokeberry marc and chokeberry extract?

The difference is simple. Chokeberry extract is a highly concentrated form of chokeberry pestle. About 27 chokeberry berries are needed to produce 1 capsule! We cooperate with a Swiss company in the production of our extract and can guarantee a gentle production with the highest possible concentration.
